Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) published a helpful clip about Canada’s immigration system. Every year they set goals for the number of immigrants accepted into the country under each category. Before the targets are completed, they provide the public, provinces and territories, businesses, and organizations that assist immigrants in settling in Canada the opportunity to provide feedback.

To ensure Canada has the employees it needs to address crucial labor market gaps and support a robust economy, the target for 2022 is 431,645 immigrants.
