Canada is currently aiming to recruit more French-speaking immigrants. This is due to the labor force shortage for bilingual employees in the country. These Francophone newcomers will come from countries in Africa and the Middle East, according to Canadian Visa Professionals.

Upon entering the country, they will settle in Canadian minority communities, excluding Quebec. Quebec is excluded from this plan because it exercises control over its own provincial immigration program.

The government also plans to enable the communities to gain access to French-language education.
Canada has risen above the United States for the first time in the history of the world’s most competitive economies. Canada increased five places to 8th in the Swiss-based business school IMD’s yearly ranking.

The United States fell from 3rd to 10th place, a seven-place drop. It is the worst place in a ranking the country has ever had, and it is Canada’s highest score since 1989. The decline for the US is due in part to President Donald Trump’s trade war with China. IMD reported, “Trade wars have damaged both China and the U.S. economies, reversing their positive growth trajectories.” China dropped to 20th place, falling six places.

The head of IMD’s Competitiveness Center, Arturo Bris, said almost all countries in the top ten spots are now relatively small economies. In a report, Bris noted that a benefit of these small economies in the current pandemic is their ease in finding a social consensus.

These times mark a new world in which the importance of de-globalization is more significant than ever. These global superpowers have been competing for a long time, and now they are losing ground to smaller economies and national governments. Canada is one of the most desirable immigration countries in the world.

Smaller countries are rising in the global competitive market. The director of the School of Transnational Governance at European University Institute, Alexander Stubb, said the success of these less than superpower economies is attributed to their open welfare state.

“They are very transparent in the way they deal with things; they are globally oriented, and they are competitive in many ways,” according to Stubb, the former prime minister of Finland. Small economies also are doing better during the crisis of the pandemic.

For the first time in history, Canada’s economy has passed the US as more competitive. Canada rose to eighth place from 13th, while the US fell seven places to tenth place. It is America’s worst performance in the ranking it dominated for many years. It is also the first time Canada’s economy ranked higher since 1989.

Marco Mendicino, Canada’s federal Minister of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship, has announced a plan to fight against Canada’s demographic dilemma. More than nine million baby boomers will be at retirement age over the next ten years, which will create a labor shortage. If the challenges are not considered, healthcare costs could rise, pension payments will not be paid, and a halt to the country’s economic growth could happen. Mendicino suggested adding one million new permanent residents to the nation by December 2022. This slight increase will raise the yearly immigration rate to close to one percent, up 0.1 percent from the current numbers.

Canadian Visa Professionals has a team of immigration specialists ready to help you and your family relocate to Canada. They will walk you through the immigration process. Call them today!

Mendicino said, “Immigration drives economic growth, spurs innovation, and helps employers access the talent they need to thrive.” He said, opening the door for more immigrants will help address the demographic needs of Canada’s aging population and to be able to compete successfully in the competitive worldwide marketplace. Even with the COVID-19 pandemic, a senior economist at RBC, Andrew Agopsowicz, said, without the influx of immigrants Canada is used to, the country would become very old, and that is an expensive thought.

He urged everyone to be considering how to keep the immigration system strong, since it is such an essential part of Canada’s economy and growth. Without Canadian immigration, Montreal, Vancouver, and Toronto would have all had declining populations in 2019. Substantial immigration fuels the nation’s economic engine and drives up the GDP in the largest metro cities faster than the national average.

There are many opportunities available for you and your family in Canada.
Sudbury optician, Bryan Todd, is preparing for a ten-day excursion to Kenya, Africa. He will be taking limited clothing and toiletries as his suitcases will be packed with 1,500 pairs of eyeglasses. While in the country, Dr. Todd will be performing vision tests and handing out glasses to those from Zawadi la Tumaini, a Nairobi children’s home. If you are considering relocating to a country whose citizens are generous and welcoming to others, contact Canadian Visa Professionals. They will walk you through the steps to obtain the required visa to live and work in Canada.

Dr. Todd has volunteered on two other trips, one to Belize in 2004 and one to Malawi in 2016. The optician says for those who live in extreme poverty, being able to see clearly can make a dramatic difference. He says, “If you don’t have any vision, you really don’t have much of a future to be able to better yourself.” He knows that when these children put on glasses for the first time and can see, they have a better opportunity for a better life. The private company, Canadian Visa Professionals, has an experienced team of professionals who will give you a list of potential visa track options to be able to immigrate to Canada. Contact them today!

Todd, along with another optician, will be using a portable refracting unit attached to an iPhone to establish the person’s prescription. They will match the prescription with a pair of glasses that most closely matches. The residents of Sudbury donated all of the eyeglasses. Even though the match isn’t always exact, they try to help improve every child’s vision. Todd and the other doctor work 12-hour days and feel as if they barely scratch the surface. The demand for vision exams is high in poor communities. Todd says the experience is an excellent reminder of how thankful Canadians should be for things many take for granted. When working with Canadian Visa Professionals, you can be assessed for the best option for immigration to Canada. Their professional team understands the different requirements for each program.

Over the next five years, the number of millionaires living in Canada will more than double, according to a report from Credit Suisse. The growth rate is speedier than other developed countries, even the United States. In 2018, there were 1.3 million Canadian millionaires, and that is predicted to jump by 54 percent to close to two million people by 2023, according to the Global Wealth Report 2018. Immigration is the way to get the best option for your life. Canada is one of the most desired locations around the world for migration. Contact Canadian Visa Professionals for help with the visa process.

Canada is only behind China and Russia out of 24 developed countries in the most significant percentage gain in the number of millionaires over the next five years. Millionaires in the United States will increase only 18 percent to just over 20 million in the same time frame. The report used financial and non-financial assets like homeownership, GDP, and inflation from the International Monetary Fund economic database to create their report. Canadian Visa Professionals will walk you through the steps to receive the required visa to live and work in Canada.

The high property values are an essential driver of household wealth in the country, even with the recent slowdown in the real estate market. Professor Jim Davies, the author of the study, said, “One of the assumptions behind the increase in the number of millionaires is that Canadians’ housing wealth will continue to rise-no collapse in that market.” The team of professionals at Canadian Visa Professionals will answer any questions you may have about the immigration process.
